Refund Policy

1. Monthly Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled.
- You can cancel from your dashboard or Stripe billing portal.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
- You keep access to your paid plan until the end of that billing period.
- We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period unless required by law.
2. Credits and Usage
Credits are consumed when you generate or regenerate videos, scripts, voiceovers, images, animation, captions, or related assets. Once credits or paid resources have been used, the related portion of the subscription is generally non-refundable.
- Unused credits do not roll over to later billing periods.
- Used credits are not refundable for cash value.
- Addon series slots and bonus credits are tied to the active subscription period.
- We may issue replacement credits when a generation failure is caused by ViralPilot or a provider outage and the issue can be verified.
3. No Performance-Based Refunds
ViralPilot helps create, schedule, and publish short-form videos. We do not control social media recommendation systems, viewer behavior, monetization eligibility, platform review, account status, or audience demand.
Refunds are not provided because videos fail to reach expected views, followers, engagement, revenue, monetization approval, virality, platform ranking, or business results.
4. Eligible Refund Situations
We may approve a refund, partial refund, or replacement credits in the following situations:
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same subscription period.
- Unauthorized charge: A payment was made without your authorization and you contact us promptly.
- First payment, no material usage: You contact us within 24 hours of your first payment and have not materially used paid credits, generation, animation, publishing, or premium resources.
- Verified service failure: A technical issue caused by ViralPilot prevented paid generation or publishing, and replacement credits or regeneration would not reasonably resolve the issue.
- Legal requirement: A refund is required under applicable consumer protection law.
5. Ineligible Refund Situations
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal.
- Unused time after cancellation when access remains available until period end.
- Used credits, generated videos, rendered assets, voice generation, image generation, animation, storage, or publishing attempts.
- Low views, low engagement, no followers, no revenue, no monetization, or lack of viral performance.
- Platform API limits, expired social tokens, moderation decisions, account restrictions, upload review, strikes, takedowns, or third-party platform outages outside ViralPilot's control.
- User error, wrong settings, wrong topic, wrong connected account, rejected content choices, or failure to review generated content before publishing.
- Requests made after the eligible review window unless required by law.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email support@getviralpilot.com with:
- The email address on your ViralPilot account.
- The Stripe receipt, invoice ID, or charge date.
- A short explanation of the issue.
- Any screenshots or error messages that help verify the issue.
We review requests case by case. If approved, refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank and card processing times are controlled by the payment network and may take several business days.
7. Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback while also requesting support, your account may be paused while the payment processor reviews the dispute. We reserve the right to provide account, usage, invoice, and acceptance records to Stripe and the payment network when responding to disputes.
8. Related Terms
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this policy and a non-waivable legal right in your location, the applicable legal right controls.
